I have ordered from here three times and have been overly satisfied each time. I’ve had the curry chicken, curry goat, fried chicken and the jerk chicken and every item was way above average. I even had some cow foot gravy on my fried chicken and loved it and I don’t eat any kind of foot. I’m going for a little oxtail next. Gods job guys.

I walked in for the first time and was greeted so quickly and the staff were super friendly relaxed and professional! She immediately asked me if it was to dine in or take out and I let her know it's takeout. She handed me a menu and allowed me to browse through it no rush at all which I very much appreciated. The selection and prices were very very reasonable! The ambience is warm and inviting but not fancy but tasteful which I prefer. It has a bar, tables, and an area that can be reserved for events . The dish that I ordered was stewed chicken and I have sat it is outstandingly tasty. I could not stop eating it! I ordered large and anticipated having leftovers but that did not happen it was too yummy I ate the whole thing! I promise to return again it's worth it. Great job Ladies!!

O&J’ serves up delicious, authentic Jamaican meals with care. Man, we ordered curried shrimp, curry goat, brown stew chicken and brown stew fish. OMG I don’t even like goat but this curry goat was so tasty in a thick gravy mmm I also sampled the brown stew fish. Lawd, it was so good (topped with okra,, carrots & colourful sweet peppers). And I ordered the brown stew chicken. It was so good — it made want to chew up the bones. We were warmly greeted at the door when entering and we got big smiles & a wave when leaving. O&J’s feels like family and feeds you like you’re at home good food ! I almost forgot to mention • they have a dj playing good music adding to the good vibes. AND • there’s a downstairs where you can host parties !

Went here November 4 with some friends for dinner. Location nice but the decor colours were loud. Overall food was good although slow as they had another event downstairs. Dj played good music although a bit too loud we couldn't hear ourselves talk, but I would return. We went to Central afterwards which is in close proximity to the restaurant.

The place was kinda quiet but we smelled something smoking outside and went in anyway. Glad we did, tried the Jerk Chicken with rice and it was really good! The chicken had a nice smoky flavour and was fragrant. We ordered for takeout and it was ready really quick.

I have eaten at many Caribbean restaurants, and O & J’s stands out immediately. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The food selection was also great, but the real plus for me was the authenticity and preparation of each dish. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that is looking for great food. Whoever is cooking the food is doing a fantastic job. Pleasantly surprised!!

THIS REVIEW IS FROM A CAN/JAM, so I know the food/ culture and what to expect. This is my first time coming to the restaurant, even after the fact that I've passed by many times and have contemplated. Well, Today was the day. I went in and ordered a large jerk chicken with festivals. Now I prefer my festivals long and crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. These ones are more like knots but they were still very good. The jerk chicken is what attracted me to the place. The guy cooking the chicken on the barbecue caught my interest immediately. The jerk is really good. It's not extremely spicy, could even be a little bit more but it's still very very good, especially when good jerk is hard to find. I would definitely come back and definitely recommend this place. On top of that the owner is so hospitable and welcoming. It's a place that has alcohol so if you drink and you want to have a bar type atmosphere they have that as well. You can go and play dominoes at the back with the men and it's not overcrowded. Very spacious. I can't wait to go back for some fried Chicken and try some of the other stuff on the menu. They do catering too!!! ????????
